New Content Available for Exchange 2010: Highlights

<edit 11/12/09 10:48pm: Added some additional information, links, etc.>

On November 9th, many of our web properties were updated with new content and information to coincide with the general availability of Exchange 2010. With all the new information out there, where do you start? What should you be sure not to miss? Below is quick list of items and sites you should definitely check out.

The Virtual Launch Event Site:

If you’re lucky, you had the opportunity to attend one of the two events this week that included an Exchange 2010 keynote: TechEd EMEA in Berlin or Exchange Connections in Las Vegas. However, anyone can attend the Virtual Launch Event online and watch Stephen Elop on stage with Julia White, who demos the new features of Exchange. Or you can check out Rajesh Jha on stage at Exchange Connections, with guest appearances from many members of the Exchange team in Redmond. And if you are looking for more informal interviews that capture the excitement of launch– then head over to TechNet Edge where you will find videos created by members of the Exchange team and our amazing evangelists.

After watching one of the keynotes out on our Virtual Event site, take a minute to explore and discover all the other videos and resources the Exchange team has developed. We have a 12 session track dedicated to Exchange and Unified Communications, and also a virtual booth – where you can find Exchange demos, customer case study videos, and resources such as the searchable Exchange 2010 Customer Case Study.

Exchange TechCenter

The Exchange TechCenter experienced a complete design and content refresh. Our Exchange TechCenter maintains its charter or providing resources for our IT Pro customers to download and get started with the product and is a front end to Help, community and support content. IT PROs and Exchange admins can easily discover all the resources needed to be successful with Exchange Server. Check it out:

For the 2010 launch, the new center features easy access to the Exchange 2010 bits, a dedicated TechNet forum for Exchange 2010, key downloads like the Exchange 2010 Deployment Assistant that we mentioned in a recent blog post, Exchange MVPs, Exchange 2010 videos and webcasts, community launch events, and more.

Microsoft.com/Exchange

Looking for customer case studies? Product news and reviews? Or perhaps information on licensing and pricing? The Microsoft site contains all this information, along with the ability to live chat with a Microsoft representative about the product.

Tweet!As a member of the Exchange community – you have the opportunity to interact with members of our team through blogs, forums, and now a Twitter feed. Get all the latest Exchange news direct from the product team!

What’s next? We will have new webcast, videos and virtual labs coming out in the next couple of months – all of which will be highlighted here on the Exchange Team blog.

Is there an Outlook feature matrix out yet?  Something that shows what features are available/unavailable in Outlook 2010 vs. 2007 vs. 2003?  That's something that would be very useful and has been present in past releases, but I haven't been able to track it down.
