Troubleshooting error 0x8004010f when downloading the Offline Address Book

This is one of those subjects that keep coming up.

A while ago, we had a post on how to troubleshoot error 0x8004010f when downloading an OAB in Outlook. Dave Goldman has been working on updating this guidance with latest tips and tricks and has, after a little encouragement, just published it on his blog today. Definitely a recommended reading if you are having OAB-related 0x8004010f errors!

Check it out here: http://blogs.msdn.com/dgoldman/archive/2008/10/01/understanding-why-error-code-0x8004010f-is-thrown-when-trying-to-download-an-oab.aspx

Seeing that Dave is a great source of all things OAB related, I definitely suggest bookmarking his blog!

Your post should say "read this (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc411331.aspx)" first.
