Exchange Server Documentation Updates - November 2007

The Exchange Server documentation team is pleased to announce the following new Exchange Server 2007 content.

You can see these articles and other Exchange Server documentation content in the Microsoft Exchange Server TechCenter.

To see what content has changed for Exchange Server 2007 with Service Pack 1, take a look at What's New in Exchange Server 2007 SP1.

The following downloads are also now available for SP1 content:

BTW, if you haven't noticed, all our topics in the Exchange Library now have a "Topic Last Modified" date at the top of the topic. And, if you wonder which topics apply to Exchange Server 2007 with Service Pack 1, we now have an "Applies to" tag for Exchange 2007 content.

You guys keep promoting the heck out of SP1, with documented features, etc. (for months, now) Yet, we've been waiting all year for this vaporware. WHEN is it going to be released?????

If I had to guess, they're probably waiting for Server 2008 to go gold since Exchange ties into Server far deeper than any other product seems to. It'd suck to ship SP1, then at the last moment something is changed in Server 2008 right before going gold and it breaks SP1.

Some interesting guesses... :)

Everyone - I know it's getting old but please be patient - there will be more on this in not too distant future.

Bday, good points. But anyone deploying Sever 2008 AND Exchange 2007 at the same time in the next year is one brave (and ultimately CRAZY) soul.  :)

Devin almost (notice: almost) inspires me to try and deploy win 2k8 and exch 2k7 simultaneously in a lab without prior testing just to see how close I can get to a fully functional live environment without having to go back and fix stuff.

Petri,

SP1 will come in both 64 and 32 bit flavors, yes.

As with RTM though, 64 bit is supported for production server roles and 32 bit is supported for MGMT tools or extending the schema:
